Ken Ramaley, CIA, CRMA, MBA, etc. is the Managing Director of Ramaley Group, LLC. Ken has over 20 years of experience in Risk Management, Process Improvement, and advanced analytics.
Ken has consistently challenged traditional risk management roles, seeking to help auditors embrace tools from other disciplines to fulfill audit’s mandate. At Bank of America, Ken conceived and implemented an innovative “Customer Experience Audit” function. This novel approach provided effective coverage of novel risks by overlaying operational risk audit methods with advanced Six Sigma methodologies, and has driven the adoption of innovative risk measurement and audit approaches.
Ken authored two cover articles in RMA Journal focused on Reputation Risk Management in Financial Services, as well as related articles on BusinessInsurance.com and the Journal of the ACUA (Association of College and University Auditors).
Ken has presented on topics ranging from technical audit toolsets to audit process innovation and cultural revolution. His presentations reflect his diverse background. Ken holds degrees from Brown University and University of Chicago in Mathematics, General Management and Finance. He has served as a Six Sigma Master Blackbelt, Audit Director, IT executive, and Strategic Consultant at Fortune 100 companies.
Ken has received consistently high scores for his presentations, including multiple repeat presentations at IIA Chapters and an invitation to speak at the IIA All Star Conference in 2016.
